THE PRINCESS ROSE GARDEN
Situated opposite the hotel entrance, 2/3 of the hotels’ rooms have views onto the Princess Rose Garden, ranging from our Classic rooms to our Rose Garden Suites
The Princess Grace Rose Garden first opened on June 18th, 1984. Prince Rainier III wanted to create a place in memory of his wife Princess Grace.
More than 30 years later, the Rose Garden has 8,000 rose bushes in 300 different varieties spread over 5,000 m².
The roses are named after the Grimaldi Royal Family Princes, Princesses and celebrities.

 

THE ROCK, MONACO TOWN
Our Riviera rooms, Executive rooms and Suites all offer valuable views of the Rock at different angles. You can admire views of the Palace, Cathedral or Oceanographic museum.
The Old town is to be discovered for its narrow alleyways from the middle ages which lead to the picturesque Place Saint Nicolas and Placette Bosio, the Chapel of Mercy, Palais de Justice and the Cathedral, a Roman-Byzantine style building built in 1875.
Your feet will naturally guide you to the Place du Palais, where every day at precisely
11:55am the changing of the guard takes place.

 

THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA
Our Sea View Riviera Suites and Riviera Deluxe rooms all have breathtaking views over the once named “Mare Magnum”, the Great Sea. At a distance you can see the Italian coast and on the best days the outline of Corsica.

BREAKFAST

Breakfast is available daily between 7.30am and 10.30am in your room by hanging the order form on your door before 3.00am. A large selection of hot and fresh products is available as well as gluten free items (on request). Alternatively, Columbus Breakfast bags to go can be ordered for 12€ (if breakfast is not already included in your rate). Please ask our teams if you have any special requests. We will always do what we can to meet your requests.

 

ALL DAY DINING

The restaurant is open from Monday to Friday from 12.00pm to 2.30pm daily. Enjoy a meal in the relaxed atmosphere of our terrace or in our comfortable dining room.

 

ROOM SERVICE

Room service is available 24H/24H. Please look at the ROOM SERVICE MENU to place your order. Between 6.30pm and 6.00am, only items marked with a star are available.

ELEMIS BATHROOM AMENITIES

The Columbus Monte-Carlo has selected the Elemis Revitalize-Me range for your bathroom amenities.
The ingredients and scents of Thyme, Basil and Neroli will help cleanse, moisturize and soften the skin.
We chose the Elemis products because of their ethos and also the quality of the brand: they are the best British Skin care brand in the United Kingdom who is “dedicated to exploring our global ecosystem and supporting its communities. Their plant-based botanicals are sourced from all corners of the globe. Chosen for their uniqueness, potency, dynamic properties and efficacy, our scientists expertly hand-blend these in development to produce revolutionary, cutting-edge formulas. Items are available to buy through housekeeping in 30ML, 50ML or 300ML on request.

 

BEDDING EXPERIENCE

Our bedding was carefully selected to bring our guests the ultimate comfort.
Our duvets are filled with Pure European Goose Down. The ultimate in duvet luxury. Covered in a Low-Noise 100% Cotton 300TC Sateen casing they are incredibly light but incredibly warm at the same time.
4 pillows dress the bed; 2 Duck Feather and Down offer the ultimate combination of support and comfort and 2 microfiber pillows for medium/firm support. We can also adapt the layout to something more in line with your liking. Please select from pour pillow menu below and let our housekeeping team know how you would prefer the set up.

TEA AND COFFEE FACILITIES / MINI-BAR

  1. All the hotel rooms are equipped with complimentary tea and coffee facilities on arrival. Please contact room service through the service button on the phone should you need additional coffee and/or tea.
    A selection of snacks and drinks is available in your mini bar. The price list is in the mini bar unit and can be consulted here. It is replenished on request by our teams. Please feel free to contact us should you need us to replenish items before this.
    The mini bars are tactile, should you remove an item it will be charged automatically to your bill. Should you wish to have the mini bar locked for your children’s care please contact us through the service button.Should you wish to have your mini bar emptied to fill with your own goods, a charge of 30€ will be applied.

 

IRON/IRON BOARD
Your room is equipped with an iron and iron board for your own use, it can be found in the cupboard.

 

HAIR DRYER

The hair dryer can be found under the sink in your bathroom.

 

SAFETY DEPOSIT BOX

All our rooms are furnished with safety deposit boxes. You can leave your computer or mobile phone on charge in the units by using the plug in the door of the safe. Please use the safe for all your valuables as the hotel cannot be held responsible for any missing items left outside of the safe.
Your safe will be closed on arrival. To open it press 0000.

 

INTERNET

Complimentary wireless internet is available throughout the hotel. Please ensure that your wireless connection is configured correctly by selecting “Columbus Wifi” as a network to activate the connection.

APPLE TV

Your room can be equipped with an Apple TV on request through our maintenance team. A daily rate of 9€ will apply and a 200€ deposit will be requested.

HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING

You can use the thermostat to set the heating or air conditioning in your room. We set a standard temperature of 22° C/ 71.6°F as a base temperature. If you remove the key from the key socket the system automatically turns off. This contributes to our environmental program. Should you wish to leave it on while you are out please contact the front desk who will have a blank key brought to your room.

 

HOTEL FACILITIES

 

HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE

Our Housekeeping team are available daily from 9.00 am to 5.30pm. Your room is serviced on request daily between 9.00am and 4.30pm. If you do not wish to be disturbed, please place the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the outside door. Should you wish for your room to be serviced at a specific time, or should you need additional bathroom products please contact our housekeeping team through the service button.

 

DRY CLEANING SERVICE

A dry-cleaning service is available daily (except bank holidays). Please place clothes to be cleaned in the laundry bag provided for the purpose and attach the completed form. These items may all be found in your wardrobe. Any laundry handed in before 9.00am will be returned the same night by 8.00pm. Goods given after this time will be returned the following night by 8.00pm. An express service is also available for an additional fee.

 

VALET/PORTER SERVICE

Our valet/porter team is available daily 24hrs per day. On the day of your departure they will be able to take care of collecting and storing your luggage.

Should you require your car, please feel free to call in advance for them to bring it round for you.

 

SHUTTLE SERVICE

The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service within Monaco. The shuttle leaves daily at fixed times between 9.00am and 6.00pm. Should you wish to use this service please contact the porters to book your requested time.

 

CHECK OUT

The hotel check-out time is 12.00pm, noon. Should you wish to keep the room passed this time please contact the reception. An additional charge can be applied based on the room rate of the day.

 

WAKE UP CALLS

Please contact the hotel service to organize your wakeup call.

 

FITNESS GALLERY

The fitness gallery is located on the 1st floor as you come out of the elevators. State of the art Technogym equipment is available.
The gallery is open daily between 9.00am and 6.00pm (last available slot 5.00pm) by reserving with reception. Gym mats and small weights are also available through housekeeping should you wish to work out in your room.

 

SWIMMING POOL

The hotel swimming pool is open daily from 8.00am to 7.00pm (last entrance 6.45pm) from April 15th to November 1st (according to the weather conditions). The pool is closed every Thursday morning for cleaning. Towels for the swimming pool are available at the front desk.
Due to the current sanitary crisis the number of places to lounge around the pool is reduced. It is possible that the life guards asks you to leave your place to a new arriving client if you have been there a few hours in order to allow all to enjoy the complex.

 

PETS
The Columbus Monte-Carlo welcomes your companions. Please do not leave them unattended in your room. Animals are not allowed in the hotel’s Food & Drink outlets, nor at the swimming pool. Because some of our guests might feel uncomfortable with animals please always keep your dog on a leach.
The hotel will provide a pet welcome kit for your companion. A daily fee of 20€ will be applied to your room for each pet. Any damage made to the room will be charged to the occupants of the room.
